Job Description:

Node Architecture, Engineering, Consulting, P.C. is integrated multi-disciplinary firm providing architectural and engineering services to both public and private sector clients. Our projects range from design and development of large multifamily and mixed-use projects, commercial spaces, tenant fit-outs, hospitality throughout the New York City Area with a focus on sustainable design. We are looking for BIM Manager to join our team of professional design team.


Key Responsibilities:

-Assure that modelling standards and templates are set up in Revit and that Node modelers are constantly updated on any changes and desired level and quality of production.  

-Assure all the Revit models are created promptly upon project contracted, and site survey is received (verify that data on the survey is valid).  

-Inform the PA and PM that the Revit models are ready. 

-Create Teams channels for projects once contracted and add members to B360. 

-Coordinate Revit licenses and access to files. 

-Advise team on all new products and ways to improve our production and design. 

-Create Cost analysis templates for Bidding phase and client. 

-Modeling staff performance reviews to assure modeling standards are maintained

-Modeling quality check for all projects 

-Review current modeling standards, create and implement improvements for speeding up production and creating better deliverables. 

-Maintain staff BIM training and competency levels. 

-Manage and create family databases. 

-Come up with new ideas for apps and scripts to speed up production and provide the logic to app developers.  

-Monitor and review models and links for clash detection and error resolutions. 

-Provide support regarding Revit errors without losing work. 

-Creating new central models as per company standards, promptly upon project contract 

-Creating new Autodesk Construction Cloud projects with inherited settings. Updating templates in ACC. 

-Manage Autodesk licenses and access to files. 

-Schedule and lead team meetings to present new products and improvements made to design and production process.

Job Type: This is full-time position offering a salary and benefit package competitively paced within the local market, including medical, disability, paid time off, paid holidays, commuter benefits, continued education reimbursement, exceptional office indoor air quality and more. Must be based in New York City.


Desired Experience:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering. 

• Must have 3-5 years of experience in discipline coordination using BIM-Revit

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, experience with Office 365 and SharePoint Plus, Odoo a plus
