This upper west side townhouse has been restored and renovated into a modern-day luxury home while maintaining its old-world opulence.  Although this home was a complete gut renovation, we wanted to keep some of the original detailing in tack to coincide with the rich history of the building.  The completely renovated rooftop deck started as a ladder walk up and became a hidden garden oasis of its own.

Upgrading the home into a new and contemporary space, while saving some of the original charming features proved to be our biggest challenge.  Yet, it was also the most fun to conquer.  Rising 5 floors with a cellar, this town home includes 7,530sf, 7 bedrooms, 5 full baths and 2 half baths.  The details continue with 9 decorative fireplaces, original floors and wood paneling, a library, state of the art chef's kitchen, and a roof deck with two terraces to name a few. Inspiration was drawn from it's historical entertaining past making sure modern updates included 12' ceilings, speakers in each room and a wet bar.
